Wisdom Teeth Removed And The Recovery Process So Far

So on the 11th of February, I had the remainder of my wisdom teeth removed (I had only one removed back in the 11th grade if I recall.)

The process of it was simple. Aside from the 4 syringes worth of numbing injected into my mouth, getting the teeth removed was rather quick.

It seems however that the recovery stage of it is the hardest, at least from what I've experienced these past few days.

So my dad and I left the clinic with a few prescriptions for my pain killers and antibiotics, a stack of gauze to help with the bleeding, a syringe to irrigate the empty cavities after meals, and a guide for recovery. With only a few hours left before the numbing wore off, we headed straight for the pharmacy located at the back of a super market. After getting my medicine along with my food supply consisting of cream of mushroom soup, some lactaid, and a 28 oz. tub of strawberry haggen-dazs, we headed straight home.

Now, I've done everything that the recovery guide had told me to do. I've been eating soft foods and avoided taking my medicine on an empty stomach. The pain was tolerable up until last night on the 12th. I was talking to my boyfriend on skype and he has just gone to bed. After taking my medication, suddenly the pain in my mouth was throbbing. It brought me to the point of tears several times.

The pain would go from my jaw, to the entire left side of my head, affecting my left ear as well. I didn't really get any sleep until maybe 4 in the morning when I was able to take my pain medication without any sort of risk. Then the pain just went poof! and I was able to sleep. Right before I took my pain killers, I had gotten up several times to try and remedy the pain. I tried holding as ice pack against the affected area but it felt like it was only amplifying the pain even more. Then I tried applying some of my tooth ache medicine on some of the teeth that were on the same side and it did help for a bit before it came crawling back with revenge.

So I had figured that I probably have a dry socket after much research on the internet. I've decided to try out some of the home remedies that I read up on, and so far I tried diluting a few drops of the clove oil that I have for my tooth aches with water and using the syringe I was given to irrigate the cavity with it. It was affected for a while but the pain came back within the hour. I'm guessing it was because the oil was diluted that it wasn't very effective.

So after I'm done typing this, I'm gonna go into the bathroom again and try dabbing the oil onto one of the cotton balls that it was provided with and I'm gonna apply it directly onto the dry socket and for a while and see if it's effective or not. It's gonna burn and taste horrible but I guess that's the cost of having the pain go away. I know dry sockets don't have any long lasting effects and heals within the week but the pain that it comes with is just something I need taken care of pronto. I do NOT want to have to deal with that pain during my "relaxing" recovery period.

If you find yourself dying A LOT, before blaming the healer, check your fucking gear level and your health first. Doing a herioc Tol Vir run with 99k health and only 335 item level? Then of course you would go down in one or two hits.

Livestream And My LOLWTF For Today

FUCK YOU LIVESTREAM. WHY U NO SAVE THE 2 HOUR-ISH STREAM I RECORDED.

I was for the moment irked on a high level when I could not find my stream video on my account, then after a few hours of dicking around with my boyfriend on skype, I go on facebook and see that an old classmate from high school posted an article. Usually articles on FB don't really catch my attention unless it's something really relevant but the words "Friday Rebecca Black" caught my eyes.

I thought that shit died a long ass time ago, so why would someone bring it back up? So I clicked and came across this... "gold mine" of comedy and all the irritation from livestream being a butt-hole just evaporated.

Another year, another blog post. Not too many people follow me but to those who do, thank you very much.

As far as the whole youtube thing going on, I'll try my best to upload tidbits here and there when I can. Probably Team Fortress 2 videos I have piled up or random streams I've done in the past. Speaking of streams, I need to do those more often... 

Personal life? Well, I quit my night job to go back to school. I know I had a whole summer to do this, but I'm still having to adjust to being active during daylight. I guess once a night owl, always a night owl lol. 

As for school, taking three classes. Nothing too difficult.

On an.. interesting side note. Some nights back my boyfriend was looking up some minecraft videos and stumbled a... rather peculiar video and showed it to me. Something about how to bully old people in minecraft. Staged of course but it looks like it was made by a 14 year old squeaker who still thinks the word "nipple" is hilarious. Granted, that is my opinion.

But what struck me as odd is that when I scrolled down just to see what kind of lulzy comments this video would have, I did NOT see a single damn negative comments or any thumbs down. To add to that, I would see the same "LOL hilarious video plz make more" comment (or something within that quota) over and over. And when this kid made a comment, it would immediately get an estimate of a thousand thumbs up. 

What would this kid say? He'd blabber on something about making a part two several time, but one comment he made that just blew my mind... just... wow

Because if trolling doesn't work, rape does the trick gaiz. :D

Bots man... Just bots...

And I'm pretty positive that this guy is using them, because despite all the "positive reception" his videos have, I took a glance at his channel comments and it is just bombarded with, uh, "criticism" if you will...

Anyways, I wouldn't have such a problem with this if the kid wasn't a partner and enabling ads on his videos. Granted this kid probably isn't the worst case scenario but could be a prime example of someone who cheats the system.

Onto gaming stuffs...

I own my own Team Fortress 2 server. Kinda still under construction so I won't make it too public on my youtube channel. Despite that, I've been spending a lot of my time on an MMO called Forsaken World. It's a nice MMO and I've already leveled my character up to 80 with level 1 wings. Wings you ask? When you tweak on your gear, they give you these wings that look cool on your character. I guess you can call them little milestones in your gear. Each race gets their own separate wings. All 3 levels of them. I'll post up a little example here:

I'll probably make little post about this game every now and then. As of currently, some things have been happening with my current guild's involvement with other guilds. 

I find it really, REALLY funny how your personality is based on the guild you're in in this game. Or at least with the server I'm in. You could be, THEE most generous person in the entire server and still be considered a complete cuntbag just for being in this guild or that guild. But I guess it's really in the hands of the dickwad who spreads unnecessary slander just to get to one person... it hilarious and utterly sad.

Where I've been

I know not too much people really pay attention to my blog. And to those who do drop by the blog, it's super appreciated.

Some personal things had happened in August of 2012, which led to both my parents flying over to the Philippines for a month to make some arrangements, and to also renew their marriage vows. My parents being gone for a month left my sister and me alone at home in the meanwhile.

Kinda sweet right? I guess for a while it was xD

Anyways, as great as it was having the place to ourselves, we had the issue of food and money. Our parents gave some money to our auntie to cover rent and talked to our older brother (who doesn't live with us anymore) to give us a little money to get us by.

During the month, I looked high and low for a job. I eventually got one. Up to this day, I've been working the graveyard shift at my job. The pay's nice and all and I've managed to save up a good bit of money, not just for school but to also fund my trip to visit my boyfriend this summer.

With my job, I've contemplated getting dazzle recorder to begin recording again. I would really like to honestly but for reasons unknown I've been holding off on it. My main reason being that the one dazzle recorder that I had my eyes on, Amazon is currently out of stock >.>

I do have the video streams that I made, like the Limbo stream I made with Satan many months back. But I'm really looking forward to going back to my roots and tying up some loose ends that I haven't touched since 2010.

..my god, the last time I recording something on the console was back in 2010?! o_O'

Ookay, maybe it should be a good idea to get on it as soon as I can xD But we'll have to see. I'm gonna wait until June before I decide anything about getting that Dazzle
